The purpose of this page is to test various techniques and technologies I've been learning, including

• XHTML and CSS (valid, of course)
• Ruby on and off Rails
• Javascript and Processing
• search engine optimization
• hosting on Slicehost
• Apache webserver

and any other open source web technologies and techniques that catch my interest.

This is an early version to try out deployment on Slicehost, then on to more interesting experiments with pages that actually do something.
